International Hypnosis Federation was fun. Every year the IHF puts on a All About You Fun Conference that is packed with learning and networking. The presenters and attendees are able to learn different ways of doing what they do as well as broaden their skills by learning other modalities and subjects.

Each year I learn something new and this year was no exception. We had leaders from all over the world attend the conference. I was lucky in that I had more free time this year. This allowed me time to {socialize|network|mingle). I spent several hours talking to a few people to find out later that they were people that I had one time studied or read their book. At the time of our discussion these things were not discussed and it was simply a discussion between peers. I do not know when it happened but, no matter who I am talking to these days, it is as a peer and not as a teacher or student. Even in my instructions I find that I look at the class or group as peers and invite them to discuss and share so we all can learn. Maybe it is just that I know that I will never know it all and that I have something to learn as well these days.
