There is a certain consensus among us humans that our bodies are a marvelous work. The way it fits together and operates as a while is wonderful. It really is not challenging to be dazzled yet perplexed with this information when it is presented as glucose, insulin, glycemic index, glucagon, calories, and cholesterol. We are not all doctors. But, on the day-to-day basis it's a thoughtless method of action and reaction with minor acknowledgement of the long term effect. For many of us, the inclination to realize this inner working of our own anatomy of human body is minimal on account of the desire to focus on other matters.
There have been a lot of helpful analogies; the body is an automobile and foods are the gasoline. The workings of a vehicle and the quality of gasoline still is just yet another thoughtless process. We pull to the gas station, put in the gas and get back to our lives with no regard to the quality of the gasoline. Most times we try to find the most low-cost or convenient. We have become that way with our food too.
Sugar, and sugar by-products, like fructose, and refined carbohydrate rich food items has entered the marketplace at an escalating rate. It has come to be the Great American Diet; low-priced and convenient. Most of our food producers have found this very lucrative as they flood the market with substandard quality processed food products. We have responded by encouraging their endeavors as we now consume a toxic level of one hundred and fifty lbs of sugar a year.
Putting refined sugar into your body is similar to putting rocket fuel in your car or truck. Like I said, you don't have to be a rocket-scientist to figure out what the long term effects will probably be on the bodily organs; or in this case, vehicle parts, ---they will completely burn out
